Sold by Patricia McCormick

After we are done reading the novel A Monster Calls, we will be reading Nightjohn.  In the novel Nightjohn, we will look at slavery in the past and then reflect on slavery in our world today.  While I was shopping at Barnes and Noble with my daughter today, I came across the novel Sold by Patricia McCormick.  This novel shows one of the biggest problems we face in our world today: human trafficking.

I purchased the novel and am currently reading it.  Then I want to see the movie.
